About Me
From childhood, I have always been drawn to the arts. Artists working outside the standard canvas – Len Lye, Saul Bass, Stanley Donwood and others – have been a constant source of inspiration. I have completed a Masters in Set Design from the Theater Department of the Academy of Performing Arts (DAMU) in Prague, following a BA in Graphic Design from the Technological Educational Institute (TEI) in Athens. I have worked and studied in film, theater, graphic design, typography, illustration, animation, industrial design, advertising, photography and art history. While in Athens, I worked as an editorial designer for a premier Greek publication on politics, art and culture; as a graphic designer for an European Parliament-sponsored cultural festival; and in analogue photography, shooting in medium format and 35mm film. My time in Prague has brought my ideas and creative experience into a new context: on film and theater productions as a costume and set designer.
